Robin Hood’s Background

Probably, what this vigilante of sort is most famous for is to steal from the rich and give to the poor.  Robin Hood is actually one of the most famous English folk heroes, if not one of the only few, who was actually an outlaw.  His greatest enemy, after all, was none other than the sheriff of Nottingham himself.   It just seemed like the so called crimes that he and his band of merry men committed were justifiable because a lot of good came out of the bad that he did- which in their eyes was not bad at all.  It’s not like they committed any heinous acts.  The most they would do is steal from those who did not really need it and give it to those who really did.

Aside from his craft in theft, he is also known for being a champ archer.  Legend has it that he was even able to split an arrow in two beating his competitor who had already hit the bull’s eye to begin with.
