Tavern Man Costume

Back in the Medieval times, where do you think people flocked to to have some good old fun anyway? Unless you are royalty or some noble man of sorts, then off to the tavern it is. So go right ahead on put on the dark green velvet top. It has long white puffy sleeves that really do let people know exactly what era you come from. A long strip of brown faux leather crisscrosses its way up from the waist to the top right in the middle of the shirt. It has a gold trim at the top of the sleeves around the green velvet part and the same gold lining runs around the bottom hem.
Put on the matching dark brown velvet pants that also have the same string lacing up the shin area of each leg. That gives the whole look a nice little touch. Put on whatever pair of black loafers or leather shoes that you already have and maybe you could even hold on to a beer mug the whole night as well.
Medieval Guy Costume
However, if you really do want to go for that whole dashing and debonair look but don’t want to put on all of the armor, then the Medieval Guy Costume is perfect for you. There is no denying that this fishnet hoodie is much more comfy than putting on a helmet and some chainmail. Strong and sexy at the same time, the upper half of this long sleeved top is also made of fishnet. The mid area is a metallic silver vest of sorts with a red shield and yellow cross printed on the middle. This is the same material that is used on the other half of the sleeves. The sides have little chains linking the front to the back, three short ones on each. Plus, this is actually one of the medieval costumes for men that comes complete with a prop- what else would go perfect with this than a little plastic mace that you can carry along? All you have to do is put on any old pair of pants that would go, slip on some shoes, and get ready to party.

When you think of medieval costumes for women, long puffy skits naturally come to mind. But this Halloween, renaissance fair, or any fancy dress up party that you might have lined up, why not give those old fashioned looks a hot new twist. And by hot, we mean sexy. So go ahead and take a look. Crank it up a notch by cranking up those hem lines.
Fever Archer Costume
Move over Robin Hood, there is a new GAL in town. With the Fever Archer Costume, you are sure to hit the bull’s eye. Although this is a whole new take on the Classic “men in tights” look, this sexy ensemble stays true to the colors of that well known vigilante. Basically, this one piece mini is made of dark green faux leather. Not only does this material look great but it makes your bod look great too as the skin tight dress hugs you in all the right places. The top is corset inspired as yellow ribbons crisscross at the bottom of the low cut V neck line. There are brown details at the sides that add to the whole look. Then it flows down to the tattered skirt that has little silver studs spaced nicely along the hem. Top it all off with the matching green pointy hat complete with a red feather, of course. Throw on a pair of boots, let’s not forget the stockings, preferably fishnet, and you are good to go. With a look like this, you won’t need to steal from the rich- they’d gladly hand over whatever you ask.
Medieval Mistress Costume
Who said that only a man could rock a medieval knight costume? This sultry look will have people thinking twice. There will be no need for swords, shields, and the like. With this sultry look, any man is sure to be defeated. The top of the Medieval Mistress costume is a black long sleeved fishnet teddy that actually shows more skin than it covers. But of course, there is a silver chest plate with a red shield and yellow cross printed on the middle. The thing about the chest plate is that it covers just the chest area showing off the ribs down. If you thought the front was sexy, wait till you get to the back.
Aside from the chest plate, you will only see the silver chains that hold the top in place. Pair it up with the matching black and grey striped pleated mini, slip on a pair of your favorite black stilettos and the look is complete.

Thinking of what great look to rock this Halloween? Or maybe you have some renaissance fair marked in your calendar.
>>> Get the Mystic Sorcerer here <<<
Well, whatever the dress up event may be if you have your eyes set on a medieval knight costume of sorts, why not add a little magic and a whole lot of mystery to the whole ensemble? Do not forget that magic was a big part of the middle ages. Sure the Mystic Sorcerer Costume is not exactly that dashing and debonair knight that you might have imagined, but this may be the very look that could put a spell on all the fair ladies in the land. So let’s go right ahead and get into the details.
Mystic Sorcerer Costume
You’d be amazed at how easy it is to turn yourself from an ordinary Joe into a man shrouded in mystery. You won’t even need any magic with the Mystic Sorcerer Costume. Whether you are rushing to the party from work or if you have a couple of errands to do before the whole shindig begins, you won’t have to worry about where to stop to get changed.
Basically, all you have to do is put the robe over whatever you already have on. The main piece of this costume is a dark brown full length hooded robe. You could even be wearing sneakers and no one would ever know. But despite the color, it is a far cry from what a monk would wear. The shape alone is very different. It has long sleeves that get wider and wider towards the ends. So that by the time it reaches your hands, there is a long and huge drop. Aside from that, even the hood gets longer and pointier too.
But to add to the look, the ends of the sleeves as well as the area of the hood that goes around your face have a thick velvet lining in a lighter shade of brown. Although lighter, it still is a dark and mysterious hue. The Mystic Sorcerer Costume also comes with an attached cape collar of the same color and has the same lining however, this has a little gold trim running in between.
Aside from that, you will also get a silver bat pendant with jewel details, nothing too sparkly of course, hanging on a black string. This adds a nice touch. Tie the whole look together with the matching waist sash and get ready to turn any night into one full of awe and amazement.

This Halloween, Lady Luck will surely be smiling at you once you put on the Irish Lass Dress Renaissance Costume.

All the lads will surely think of you as a better find than any four leaf clover and more precious than any pot of gold.
A Little Look On The Irish Renaissance
The Irish Renaissance is known as a couple other things, such as the Irish Revival, the Celtic Renaissance, and the Celtic Revival. This movement occurred sometime in the late 19th century to the early 20th. The very goal of this was to give life to traditional folklore, legends, and traditions in new literary forms.
However, this Celtic movement was not merely for literary works regarding such things but there was also a political side to it. Even the self government of Ireland and the struggle to claim independence has a big role and influence on the Irish Renaissance. This brought about some of the greatest plays and dramas of J.M. Synge and Sean O’Casey, not to mention some of the finest works of poetry written by W.B. Yeats to name a few. But one of the greatest things that came out this movement would have to be the establishment of the Abbey Theater.
Irish Lass Dress Renaissance Costume
Be as beautiful as art, drama, and poetry in this Irish Lass Dress Renaissance Costume and make history at any Halloween party. This dark rich green sleeveless dress can open all the way, kind of like a vest. The upper half is corset inspired as it features black ties that you lace up. Not only does this have a dramatic effect on the whole ensemble but it does your body wonders as well. It keeps your tummy tucked in tightly and at the same time pushes up what needs to be pushed up making sure that you do the low cut neckline justice. You will be left with a voluptuous hour glass figure that no lad will be able to resist.
Not that the dress wouldn’t work on its own, but if you add a couple more things, you are sure to complete the whole look. Find a nice black belt to tie the whole outfit together. Then you can even add some white puff sleevelettes so that your arms won’t be so bare. But the perfect addition to this ensemble would definitely have to be a dashing and debonair man dressed up in a medieval knight costume.

Everybody knows the story of Robin Hood and how he would steal from the rich and give to the poor. But this Halloween, why not take spin on the traditional look and go for a sexier one with the Racy Robin Hood Costume ?
>>> Get this Racy Costume here <<<
If ever you were to be locked up, it would not be for petty theft. If hotness were a crime, they’d put you behind bars and throw away the key.
A quick look on the life of Robin Hood
Robin Hood was more of a vigilante than an outlaw of English folklore. In a time when the rich were getting richer and the poor were getting poorer, his actions seemed to be justifiable- in his and the lower class’s eyes anyway. Aside from his skill in “stealing”, he was also well crafted in the art of swordsmanship and was a champion archer. These are two great traits of his that have deemed to be of utmost importance while he gallivants through Sherwood Forest with his band of merry men.
But of course, his life did not only revolve around adventures against the unscrupulous sheriff and helping those in need. Just like any other tale, he too had a love interest, none other than Maiden Marian. Despite her virginal ways, chivalry prevailed. She eventually gave in to Robin Hood and agreed to be his wife.
Racy Robin Hood Costume
No doubt about it, the men will really be merry when you grace them with your presence in this Racy Robin Hood Costume. Although it is a far cry from the traditional tunic and tights look that Hood is well known for, this sexy ensemble stays close to the color scheme. This corset inspired lace up mini is made of deep olive velvet. The whole thing is lined in dark brown faux leather- from the straps running right down the middle where the ties go, and then all the way around the bottom.
The upper half features a revealing cream bodice that is lined in lace of the same color. The matching puff sleevelettes fit perfectly on each arm. Even the petticoat is made of the same fabric and color, not to mention the exact same lace lining as well. Strap on the matching faux leather boot covers. Tie the whole look together with the thick black belt that comes complete with a little satchel on the side. Then top it all off with the hat that looks just like Robin’s, from the color, to the style, and even up to the big red feather.
All you have to do next is to find a man in a medieval knight costume to complete the whole ensemble. But with this sultry look on, rest assured that that won’t be a problem.

A look on the life of a medieval baroness
In order to fully capture your costume, you must first understand the role that you play. So here is a quick look on the life of a medieval baroness.
Basically, a baron or a baroness is the Crown’s man or woman on the spot. You can think of it as kind of like a middle man of some sort between the Crown and the people. You do not just merely communicate but you interpret as well the things regarding the Crown’s actions and plans for the people. You will also be there to remind the Crown of accomplishments, the mood of the land, as well as any problems and queries that the people may have.
You posses a noble title and play an important role.
Baroness Costume
The very icon of elegance back in the Middle Ages was no doubt a full length gown. This one has a deep brown velvet corset inspired top. The fabric is another indication or high class. The low cut square neck line is trimmed in cream organza. The soft ruffles give it an elegant, if not regal, touch. The exact same trim can be found on the long wide sleeves and the same organza fabric is used to add detail to the middle part of the bodice.
Sweep across the floor in the bronze skirt that showcases intricate designs and patterns running across the center lay all in relatively the same color but in both darker and lighter hues. The lace details are simply stunning. With the tight bodice and the puffy skirt, you will look absolutely ravishing in the Baroness costume as it will make you waist seem smaller and your hips seem wider giving you the voluptuous hour glass shape.
Then, top it all off with the matching head piece- a yellow fascinator of sorts that has not one, not two, but three white plush feathers on top. You are sure to have hearts fluttering all night long.
But the ultimate finishing touch would have to be a dashing young man in a medieval knight costume by your side all throughout the party.

Brigadoon, Briga-what?
Not many are very familiar with Brigadoon as this musical was written way back in 1947. So that means you can pretty much cross out today’s generation. In case you are one of those scratching your head, here is a little info on this classic. Basically, this musical takes place in a small enchanted village somewhere in Scotland. So you can expect to hear a lot of traditional bagpipe music.
In the story, Brigadoon is actually a magical village that only appears once in every hundred years or so. That seems like an awful long time for regular folk who live in normal places, but for those who live in this sanctuary of sorts, one century seems like just one night.
The catch is that the village will retain its magic and enchantment long as no citizen ever leaves. If one does decide to do so, Brigadoon will be lost forever somewhere in the mists of the highlands.
Brigadoon Grand Heritage Costume
You surely will not be any ordinary maiden in this Brigadoon Grand Heritage Costume. You will be as enchanting as the magical village itself.
To truly capture the right era, nothing screams ”Renaissance” more than a plain white peasant long sleeved shirt lined in immaculate white lace. Over this, strap on the brown corset inspired tie up vest. But unlike the common bodice, this one is tied up in three different areas- on both sides and right in the middle. Not only does this add to the whole look but it also adds to your figure. This will accentuate your curves leaving you with a voluptuous hour glass figure.
For the lower half, first put on the pitch black full length underlay that has a little gold trim that adds just a little bit of a design. Then, over it goes a plaid red full length skirt. The lines on this are metallic gold. There is a white lace trim running along the bottom of the skirt.
What lady would be complete without her purse? This whole look even provides you with a black fringed handbag that matches the ensemble perfectly. What ladies purse would be complete without a man to carry it around for her? Find yourself a date in a medieval knight costume and be the perfect pair at any party or fair.

Medieval Queens and Empresses
When it comes down to English History, there is no period that is more exciting than the Middle Ages. This covered the period between the years 1066-1485. This was the era when Kings ruled the lands and went on quests and adventures. But you have to remember that for every part of HIStory there is HER-story. Every king had his queen behind him- sometimes even more than just one. Just as the kings were full of power, so were their queens. Not to mention the fact that like any mother, these women had a great influence on their sons, the future kings.
Probably the most important duty a Queen had to do was to give birth to a son. This may be harder than you think. It was very important that there be a man to become heir of the throne. From then, the heir’s job was to pass down the royal name and to get married to a suitable woman.
Elegant Empress Costume
Put the fancy back in Fancy dress parties with this Elegant Empress Costume. It couldn’t have been named any better. So grace everyone at the party with you presence dressed up in this full length gown. Nothing says “Royalty” quite like rich maroon velvet- and that is basically what the whole ensemble is made of except for some details. For the upper half, the high stand up collar is softly ruffled and goes around a circular neckline that is not too revealing. A real lady leaves most to the imagination. The immaculate white contrasts the deep maroon perfectly. The gold trim that runs along the velvet adds a touch of class.
The matching underlay is perfect to add design to the whole look as it is covered in an intricate gold pattern. You can find the exact same details on the matching headpiece as well as on the bands around the open flared long sleeves.
Just like any other woman, even an empress loves to accessorize. Sure you may not have the crown jewels on, but the gold chain showcasing a ruby pendant is sure to add sparkle to the whole look. But the perfect accessory would definitely have to be a man in a medieval knight costume around your arm- or the other way around, that is.

The Round Table
Legend has it that the Round Table was created by none other than the mighty wizard Merlin. This was made in the shape that it was in order to symbolize the roundness of the univers. Merlin had made this especially for the father of King Arthur, Uther Pendragon. After the passing of Arthur’s father, the round table was passed on as well to King Laudegraunce, the father of Guinevere. Then, it finally made its way back to Arthur when he became King and Married Guinevere.
This Round table is more than just where the knights of the fellowship got together for counsel and whatnot. This also possessed a deep symbolic significance of unity and strength. The very concept of the Round Table, as well as the knights, has kept its power for hundreds and hundreds of years on end.
Knight of the Round Table Costume
Included with the Knight of the Round Table costume is a dark grey tunic that comes down to your knees. Despite its color, there is nothing dull about it. Right in the middle is a black emblem featuring an intricately designed and well crafted light grey dragon. The sleeves of the tunic are long and are made of a metallic chain mail like fabric – so it looks like the real thing but it does not feel like hard and uncomfy armor. You won’t have to worry about wearing anything heavy all night long.
To make sure that you are dashing from head to toe, the whole outfit comes with a matching hood that is made from the same chain mail like fabric used on the sleeves. Slip on the boot covers that bear huge dark grey crosses on each and put on the matching fingerless gloves, both grey and plain. Then tie the whole look together with the black thick belt.
Although not part of the package, for those who truly want to go all out on this knight in shining armor look get yourself a plastic sword and shield to fully seal the deal.
