Who is Anne Boleyn?

Henry the eighth was well known for his many wives, and Anne Boleyn was one of them.  She was his second wife, to be exact.  This, of course, made her queen of England, and she sat on her throne for three years- from 1533-1536.  What made her different from other queens was that she was actually the first one who had no royal blood.  So you can just imagine what a great woman she was to be able to win over the king, especially in that time and age.

Not only was she a woman of great beauty with her dark eyes and slim body, but she was one with a great mind as well.  She was very intelligent, witty, and remarkably talented.  She was a skilled musician and dancer.  If she could snag a king, that only means that there were may MANY other men attracted to this exotic beauty.

So it is only natural that such a great woman would bear such a great child.  Her daughter was none other than one of the greatest English monarchs, Queen Elizabeth the first.

Anne Boleyn  Costume
